James L. Previti
President and CEO

A  longtime Southern California homebuilder and entrepreneur, Jimmy Previti is president and CEO of Frontier Enterprises, one of Southern California’s leading and most respected builders of high-quality new homes for first-time buyers, growing families and seniors.

Previti’s personal philosophy to help create and support sustainable communities through careful planning, philanthropy and neighborhood revitalization guide both his companies and their operations.

A veteran of the homebuilding industry and a second-generation homebuilder, Previti launched his career as a construction superintendent overseeing new home construction. After honing his skills and expanding his practical knowledge of the housing industry, Previti advanced to increasingly challenging positions in purchasing and entitlements, and rapidly progressed to management. Before founding Frontier Enterprises in 2002, Previti served as Area President for one of the nation’s top public builders, with full profit-and-loss responsibility for multiple land development, construction and sales for single-family and multi-family projects.

Under Previti’s steady leadership, Frontier was quickly recognized as one of America’s leading builders after just three years in operation. Previti and Frontier were named to the prestigious Builder 100 list, compiled annually by Builder Magazine, based upon the company’s 2004 revenues of more than $300 million from nearly 800 deliveries.

A recognized member of the building community, Previti has also held several leadership positions with area trade groups, including president of the Building Industry Association Baldy View Chapter, which oversees the San Bernardino County region.
